  • What's my role as a parent? "Never do for a boy what a boy can do for himself." R.S. Baden-Powell. Trail Life encourages parents to take an active role in their son’s program, by attending meetings, completing in-home activities, and providing encouragement.  Presence of a family member is requested to be onsite by our Troop Leaders to assist in the activities during the troop meetings as we don't want the troop to be a drop-off program to not involve a father who is able to join us. If a father is not available, please reach out to us. We want to not worry about the taste of the food at a campout, but rather that the boys cooked it. It's better that a Trailman teaches a fellow Trailman how to tie the knot.
  • Check out the Resources Page
  • Familiarize yourself with Trail Life University and complete at least Peak One orientation (must be registered in TrailLifeConnect)
